Meet The Director
Denisea Woodard Patterson is the Founder and Artistic Director of Rising Stars Academy of Dance & Performing Arts.
Known as "Ms. D" to her beloved students, Denisea started her dance journey at the age of 8 at Ms. Graham’s Dance Academy studying Jazz, Modern, and Tap until she became a dance captain for the Thurgood Marshall Mystics.
